The fundamental engineering for canning hasn’t evolved for over 90 years offering a one-size-fits-all solution which doesn't work for most beverage makers. After decades of struggling, they demanded change.
We listened, we delivered. ZANZ was born.

Why we started a revolution.

ZANZ founder, Ben Jarrett, is an industrial designer on a mission. For Ben, engineering is about creating systems that bring users sustained value rather than frustration.

The mission is personal. With family connections to winemaking, Ben witnessed that for 90 years, canning technology had remained stagnant - a "necessary evil" that absorbed resources and threatened product quality.

Refusing to accept the status quo, Ben spent five years in the garage dismantling the problem while collaboratively designing the solution with four brewer development partners, hundreds of design changes, thousands of field testing hours and hundreds of thousands of cans.

The result is ZANZ: a fusion of human-centred design and industrial precision. ZANZ liberates beverage makers from the constraints of the past to create a better future.
